After a year or two of gentle encouragement from my friend Jenny, I have decided to start my blog. Yes, the day before leaving on vacation to enjoy four days without internet access. So I guess we'll have the first entry, followed by . . . four days of silence!
I'm 27 years old and I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost four years. We have two dogs who are great, loyal companions but they can be quite a handful. If you continue to read this (have I lost you already?) you'll be hearing quite a bit about their antics.
We are Christians and learning each day what it means to follow Christ here on earth. We have a beautiful church family and we are fortunate to have supportive loving friends. With family far away, we are grateful for these people. Again, if you keep reading, you'll hear about them too.
I chose the name of my blog because of a favorite extra-curricular activity of ours. Solving a well-constructed crossword puzzle is to me like looking at a piece of artwork that you worked hard to find. The day at the our household isn't complete until the NY Times crossword puzzle has been completed and checked. Finally, if you keep reading, you will likely hear more about crossword puzzles, because they often evoke my admiration and/or frustration.
